The Baylor Health Sciences Library is located between Truett Hospital and Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry.
The Baylor Health Sciences Library (BHSL) at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas provides access to a variety of information sources and services. It contains approximately 18,000 print volumes, provides access to over 100,000 eBooks and 9,000 online journals, and subscribes to a variety of electronic databases including Ovid MEDLINE, CINAHL, Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, Lexicomp and UpToDate. The Library offers many services to aid students, faculty, and staff including literature search requests, one-on-one and group training on advanced database research strategies, interlibrary loan, and the Ask-a-Librarian chat service, which offers quick online access to Library staff. The Library is equipped with 14 computers, two printers, a scanner, and two coin-operated copy machines.
The Instructional Computer Laboratory (ICL) at BHSL is a PC-based classroom with video projection and multimedia equipment designed for hands-on, computer-based instruction to small groups of students. When not in use, the ICL is available for self-directed learning.
