Compliance
All research at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry is subject to review and monitoring for compliance with Texas A&M HSC, TAMUS, State and Federal regulations. The Office of Research and Graduate Studies is charged with oversight responsibilities relating to research. The office staff provides guidance and services, as well as oversight to assist investigators in following compliance guidelines while continuing to facilitate research activities.
Training
Appropriate training facilitates the investigator's ability to conduct research while remaining in compliance with the regulations mentioned. Therefore, training in a variety of areas is required of all faculty, staff and students involved in any form of research. Laboratory safety training sessions are conducted several times throughout the year and is mandatory that all researchers are trained at least once per year.
