BCD presents Employee Service Awards

of The Baylor Dental Record OnlineThe November issue of the Baylor Dental Record Online is a special edition focusing on the Service Award recipients for 2003. Take a moment to read the profiles of several long-term employees who were honored for their years of service to the college.
BCD news and information will return in its regular format in the next edition of the Online. To accommodate the holiday schedule, that edition will be a joint December/January issue published in December.
BCD presents Employee Service Awards
Baylor College of Dentistry honored 62 faculty and staff members during the 2003 Employee Service Awards Banquet Oct. 26 at Eddie Deen’s Ranch in downtown Dallas. This marked the 32nd year the college presented the awards.
Dr. James Cole (BCD ’75), dean of the college, commended the recipients as he presented their awards. The honorees have served the college for a combined total of 745 years.
Service awards are presented to BCD faculty and staff based on their years of full-time employment (50 percent or higher) at the college. In some cases, the award may not reflect an individual’s total number of years of service to BCD (for example, as a part-time, contract or temporary employee).
