Patient Care

Patient care - surgery

Physicians at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic are dedicated to treating acquired or birth defects of head, neck, face and oral cavity of our patients through service, education, and research. We provide the most advanced, highest quality care using the safest, most effective treatments available. The Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery faculty-practice and graduate-training program clinics are located in the Dental School at the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, First Floor. Visitors can park in the dental school parking lot (view parking area map) - there is a small fee for parking. New patients must stop by the front desk upon entering the dental school to register insurance information and get directions to our clinic. Office hours are 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. In case of an after-hours emergency, call the University Hospital operator at 210.358.4000 and ask that the Oral Surgeon on-call be contacted.

Patients with HMO or PPO insurances which require a referral from their primary care provider to see specialists must have a referral sent or faxed (in advance) to our office prior to scheduling an appointment. Otherwise, full payment will be expected prior to treatment.

Our surgeons are comprised of nationally recognized experts with specialty and subspecialty training and certification. The faculty physicians offer the entire spectrum of contemporary maxillofacial surgery, including:

  • Oral Surgery and Dental Implants
  • Corrective jaw surgery and TMJ surgery
  • Pediatric cranio-maxillofacial surgery
  • Comprehensive facial trauma and reconstruction
  • Facial aesthetic surgery
