Patient Care

Patient care - surgery

Physicians at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic are dedicated to treating acquired defects/injuries and birth defects of head, neck, face and oral cavity. We provide the most advanced, highest quality care using the safest, most effective treatments available. The Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery faculty-practice and graduate-training program clinics are located on the first floor of Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry. New patients must stop by the front desk to register and provide insurance information. Office hours are 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. If you need to reach one of our oral surgeons for an after-hours emergency, call the Baylor University Medical Center operator at 214-820-0111 and ask that the on-call Oral Surgeon be contacted.

Patients with HMO or PPO insurances which require a referral from their primary care provider to see specialists must have a referral sent or faxed (in advance) to our office prior to scheduling an appointment. Otherwise, full payment will be expected prior to treatment.

Our surgeons are comprised of nationally recognized experts with specialty and subspecialty training and certification. The faculty physicians offer the entire spectrum of contemporary maxillofacial surgery, including:

  • Oral Surgery and Dental Implants
  • Corrective Jaw Surgery and TMJ Surgery
  • Pediatric Cranio-maxillofacial Surgery
  • Comprehensive Facial Trauma and Reconstruction
  • Facial Aesthetic Surgery
  • Head and Neck Pathology and Oral Cancer
  • Microvascular Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Head and Neck Defects
  • Surgical Treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Snoring
