Preclinical and clinical educational programs operate within the context of the Simulation Clinic Laboratories and Clinics of the dental facilities on the third floor of the campus.
In addition to the preclinical and clinical curriculum, the department’s faculty is also closely involved in the education of postgraduate residents, offering:
- A 36-month combined master's degree, and
- A certificate program in advanced Prosthodontics.
This program provides residents with an integrated curriculum of advanced didactic and clinical instruction in all phases of Prosthodontics. Emphasis is placed on the Basic Sciences as they relate to daily prosthodontic practice as well as the need for research and the application to clinical dentistry. The opportunity for a combined PhD and certificate program is also available.
