Research Interests

In vitro studies on restorative dental materials, specifically concerning glass ionomer cements, instrumentation of composite resins, crown retentive problems and burnishing dental amalgam.  In addition, applications of laser technology in clinical dentistry using a coaxial CO2/Nd:YAG laser, CO2 laser, Nd:YAG laser, Ar:F excimer laser, Ar laser, He:Ne laser, Ga:Al:As laser, Er:YAG, and a Ho:YAG laser.  Development of multiple computer software programs regarding cost accounting, profitability, and managed care administration for health care entities.  M.B.A. expertise is primarily in developing cost accounting models for any health care organization.
