Faculty Research

The pediatric departmental faculty are involved in clinical and basic science research.

• Clinical research interests include behavior management, sedation and clinical therapeutics and pulp therapy.
• Basic science research focus includes temporomandibular joint inflammation/pain and pulp therapy.
• Educational research is another focus of the department. It centers around the adult educational teaching model and testing with the use of objective structured clinical exam (OSCE).
