Dr. Jordan Schweitzer grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. In 1986, he received his dental degree from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry. Following graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency in Jacksonville, Florida. Having spent all of his life in the South, he chose to head north to attend Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he received his Certificate in Endodontics in 1989 and his Master's Degree the following year.
Dr. Schweitzer began his practice in May 1990. In 2001, he began teaching part-time at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry, primarily in the graduate clinic. Dr. Schweitzer accepted a full-time teaching position at Baylor in 2006, where he is now in charge of undergraduate curriculum development and continues to supervise in the graduate clinic.
Dr. Schweitzer is Board Certified in Endodontics. He is active in the Dallas County Dental Society as well as the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex Endodontic Society. He has completed both the Management and Mastery programs at the Schuster Center for Professional Development. He also serves on the Board of Adjustment for the City of Dallas. He is married and his interests include computers, dog rescue, historic architecture, and music.
