[Top]Free MEDLINE™ access services are beginning to emerge on the Internet. Upon the merger of Baylor College of Dentistry (BCD) with The Texas A & M University System in the Fall of 1996, members of the BCD community will have online access to the OVID MEDLINE™ System -- the one favored by many professional librarians.
For those of you who are not from a university, hospital or other organization having a health science library, we offer links to the free MEDLINE™ search services below. Although these "free" services may carry advertising and may fall short of the professional systems used by libraries, they are a great resource for those lacking access to the latter: they provide quick, easy-to-use and cost-free access to the extraordinary MEDLINE™ database.
