'Race for the Cure' set for Oct. 18
 The Baylor College of Dentistry chapter of the Texas Association of Women
Dentists invites BCD students, faculty, staff and alumni to participate with them in the 21st annual Komen Dallas Race for the Cure Oct. 18. Sponsored
by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Dallas race is part of the largest series of 5K runs/fitness walks in the world.
The race begins at 8 a.m. at NorthPark Mall in Dallas, and participants may walk or run the course. BCD team members will receive an official Komen race shirt, an official BCD race shirt and special team parking.
Registration deadline is Sept. 25. The entry fee is $20 per person and all proceeds benefit the Komen Foundation. TAWD members should register with Karina Marr (D3), president, at kmarr@tambcd.edu. Select "Team Member" registration. Select "Baylor College of Dentistry" under team name. Fill out the online form as directed.
