Notice BCD's annual blood drive on Sept. 25 was the college's biggest drive ever, according to Stacy Turner, a Carter Blood Care consultant. Coordinated by Sharon Limes, college nurse in the Student Health Clinic, the drive attracted 81 participants, including 32 first-time donors, and collected 66 blood units. "A special thanks is extended to all the members of Delta Sigma Delta for volunteering to sponsor this event," Limes said. "Their enthusiasm was very visible such as making personal contact with donors, scheduling appointments, posting announcements – even special balloons and a banner to welcome participants." Plans are under way to schedule another blood drive in early 2003.
