Baylor College of Dentistry honored 58 faculty and staff members during the 2002 Employee Service Awards Banquet Oct. 10 at Double D Ranch in Mesquite, Texas. This marked the 31st year the college presented the awards.

Dr. James Cole (BCD '75), dean of the college, commended the recipients. "It is BCD's tradition to recognize employees who have passed certain employment milestones," he said. "It is always a pleasure to note the number of people who have spent significant time in service to the college."

Service awards are presented to BCD faculty and staff based on their years of full-time employment (50 percent or higher) at the college. In some cases, the award may not reflect an individual's total number of years of service to BCD (for example, as a part-time, contract or temporary employee).
