BCD students make presentations

Baylor College of Dentistry students participated in several community events in March.

D3 students made seven Project Dental Awareness presentations to groups on field trips at BCD. They also made two Tooth Talk presentations at elementary schools in Mesquite, Texas.

D4 students took part in nine area health fairs in Dallas, Grand Prairie and Irving. They also participated in four weekly events at Mission East Dallas and at one event at Mission Arlington.

Dr. Tim Lee, a pediatric dentistry resident, participated in "Health Nights with MISD" at two elementary schools in Mesquite.

Supervising dentists included Dr. Celeste Abraham, instructor in periodontics; Dr. Stephen Crane (BCD '73) assistant professor of public health sciences; Dr. Cindy Hsu, a periodontics resident; and Dr. John Nelson, retired associate dean of clinical services and professor emeritus of diagnostic sciences.
