Baylor College of Dentistry's nationally syndicated television oral health news report, "Dental Health Check," airs locally each Monday during WFAA-TV's 6 a.m. and noon newscasts. In addition, "Dental Health Check" segments are now rebroadcast several times a day on the Texas Cable News Network. Hosted by Dr. Linda Niessen (BCD), the report's recent topics include:

• "Cosmetic Choices" featuring Dr. Lee Fitzgerald (BCD '85). Since a majority of dentists in the United States practice cosmetic dentistry, how do patients choose the right dentist to make improvements to their smile?
• "Men and Cosmetics" featuring Fitzgerald and Dr. Joe Miranda (BCD '86). Dentists report a new trend in dentistry. More men of all ages are choosing to undergo cosmetic procedures and invest in a new smile.
   

Baylor College of Dentistry is featured in each issue of Dateline, a bimonthly newsletter published by the Dallas County Dental Society. In addition to news and feature articles, college information and highlights are reported in the "Baylor Byline" column.

Drs. Luis M. Arango (BCD '89) and Sandra M. Petrocchi (BCD) were featured in "Together Dr. Petrocchi and Dr. Arango have been creating beautiful, healthy smiles in the Park Cities area." The article appeared in the Jan. 24 edition of the Park Cities News in Dallas.

Dr. Michael Bell (BCD '78) was featured in "Practice makes perfect smiles." The article appeared in the Jan. 20 edition of the Austin American-Statesman in Austin, Texas.

Dr. Jason Clapp (BCD '99-Pedo) was featured in "Wilson N. Jones Welcomes Jason Clapp, D.D.S."  The announcement appeared in the Jan.13 edition of the Denison-Sherman Herald Democrat in Sherman, Texas.

Dr. Jeff Colquitt (BCD '72) was featured in three recent articles. "Dr. Jeff Colquitt Donates Building to Coon Memorial" appeared in the Jan. 16 edition of the Daily Texan in Dalhart, Texas. "R. Jeff Colquitt, D.D.S.- making Dallas beautiful one smile at a time with Larry J. Goates, D.D.S., M.S.D." appeared in the Jan. 17 and 24 editions of the Park Cities News.

Dr. Jack Long (BCD '76) was quoted in four recent articles. "Dentists Wanted" appeared in the Jan. 19 edition of the Daily Times in Kerrville, Texas. "Colleges showcase evolution of dentistry to try to avert shortage" appeared in the Jan. 20 edition of the Enterprise in Beaumont, Texas. "Colleges showcase dentistry to avoid shortage" appeared in the Jan. 20 edition of the El Paso Times in El Paso, Texas. "Dentist colleges work to attract more students" appeared in the Jan. 21 edition of Laredo Morning Times in Laredo, Texas.

Dr. Michelle Muñoz (BCD '01) was featured in "Muñoz joins Carr in Dental Practice." The announcement appeared in the Jan. 17 edition of the Leader News in Uvalde, Texas.

Dr. Michael Stuart (BCD '86) was featured in "Mesquite dentists re-elected to academy regional board." The article appeared in the Dec. 20 edition of the Mesquite News in Mesquite, Texas.
