Employee Profile

Place I'd like to live/retire: Where I am now is home to me.

Role models & why: Roy Rogers and Dale Evans inspired me because they loved the Lord and adopted many children who, otherwise, would not have had a chance.

Personal motto: Always be truthful and trust God.

Best thing about my job or BCD: I love the people first, and I like assisting anyone who needs my help.

Career highlight: Being right where I am, working with Dr. Taleghani.

If I wasn't at BCD, I'd …:  probably be doing volunteer work at a school.

Life philosophy: Stand in awe of God and do the best I can.

Pet peeves: Telemarketers, especially when it's a computer.

Favorite vacation destination & why: The mountains, forests and ocean in California are so breathtaking and awesome. I would never want to move there because I would not want to take it for granted.

Dream car: White Boxter with blue interior

Favorite hobbies: Sewing, cooking and spending time with my husband

Word that best describes me: Laughing

Something you might not know about me: I married a man who was rebellious and sang in a combo.

Top three passions: Jesus, God's Word and to do my best to be pleasing to God.

What my colleagues say about me: "I can't think of a more deserving person to have been named Staff Employee of the Quarter than Dolores," said Kimberly Southern, clinical services manager in general dentistry. "I guess it's no secret that we've been through a lot together. Regardless of how she felt or how much she had to do, she never failed to lend a helping hand and, often, a shoulder to cry on.

"Dolores is an unsung hero who makes the BCD machine run, a rare individual indeed," Southern continued. "I'm very thankful to have her as a coworker, and I'm even more privileged to have her as one of my closest and dearest friends."

Lynice Norlock, patient services coordinator in general dentistry, agrees. "It has been a privilege to work with Dolores over the past several years," Norlock said. "She is always willing to go above and beyond what is expected of her.

"Dolores sets the example in how every employee should strive to perform their job," she continued. "I consider myself very fortunate to have the opportunity to call Dolores my coworker and my close friend."
