HSC seeks input to revise mission and goals

The Texas A&M University System Health Science Center's Executive Committee is revising the HSC's mission and goals. According to Dr. Eric Solomon, executive director of the HSC Office of Institutional Research and chair of the HSC Strategic Planning Committee, an effective planning effort involves all of the health science center's constituents.

To that end, Baylor College of Dentistry students and employees could have an impact on the overall direction of the HSC and BCD. "The mission and goals of an institution guide the strategic planning process and thus determine project and funding priorities," Solomon said.

Solomon requests that comments or concerns regarding the current mission and goals (included below) be submitted to him by July 17. "All feedback will be considered by the HSC Executive Committee and the HSC Strategic Planning Committee in the revision process," Solomon said.
