Alumni Association hosts student seminar

"Beyond Books and Clinics," the eighth annual eat-and-learn breakfast seminar for Baylor College of Dentistry students, is set for Feb. 9 at Le Meridien Hotel in Dallas. Sponsored by the BCD Alumni Association, it is designed to give dental and dental hygiene students a forum regarding the nuts and bolts of establishing and maintaining a successful dental practice.

The free program features five speakers who will cover different practice management issues. After each speaker's presentation, BCD alumni and mentors will talk about the topic with students

during a roundtable discussion.."This event is a win-win program for students and alumni," said Bonnie Robinson, associate director of student and alumni activities and events at the college. "Students gain valuable knowledge about life after dental school, and the alumni and mentors have the opportunity to share their expertise while networking with future colleagues."

To participate or for more information about the program, call the Office of Student and Alumni Services at Ext 8961. Seating is limited; register by Jan. 18 to ensure your reservation.
