research in the art and science of fixed prosthodontics.Goodman's goal is to encourage continued excellence in the philosophy and practice of the discipline. "What a privilege!" he said. "I am honored to
have this opportunity to serve the academy and to work with those whom I respect." A BCD faculty member for more than 20 years, Goodman also has a private practice in Arlington, Texas. An AAFP member since
1977, he has served the organization through various committees, on its board of directors and as vice president.
