Informative speakers, tasty dishes and great
photography were highlights during Baylor College of Dentistry's annual Festival of Cultures, sponsored by the college's Welcoming Diversity Committee Feb. 3-7.
"The festival was a huge success," said Dr. Marvin Hirsh, associate professor of restorative sciences and committee chair. "The committee looks forward to planning
the festival each year and – as usual – the festivities attracted a lot of people. Everyone had a good time."
Photo contest winners were Jed Hildebrand (D4), first place; Dr. Brody Hildebrand (BCD '00), a resident in prosthodontics and orthodontics, second place; and Dr. Adriano Araujo,
a visiting scholar in orthodontics, third place.
On Feb. 3, the Rev. La Fayette Holland,

variety of ethnic dishes at the Ethnic Celebration potluck luncheon. On Feb. 7, Billy Williams, president of the Garland Chapter of the National Association for the
