New BOHF members

BOHF names two new board members

The Baylor Oral Health Foundation has named two new members to its board. Dr. Frank Eggleston and Larry Haynes each have outstanding credentials and leadership experience.

Eggleston recently gave the 2009 spring commencement address for HSC-Baylor College of Dentistry. An alumnus himself, Eggleston has served at the college in many capacities. He has been president of the alumni association and is a former member of the Baylor College of Dentistry board of trustees. In 1996, he received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Baylor College of Dentistry Alumni Association.

Eggleston has impacted dentistry far beyond Dallas as a member of multiple organizations and president of several others. Most recently, he is the president-elect of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. He twice has been honored by the Texas Dental Association for his lifetime achievements and was named 1995’s Dentist of the Year by the Texas Academy of General Dentistry.

Haynes is a partner at Ernst & Young and a Dallas community leader. He currently serves as director of the accounting firm’s Entrepreneur of the Year programs in the United States, Canada, and Central and South America. Haynes has served on the firm’s ethnicity and diversity task force and has been honored for his support and encouragement of women at the firm.

Haynes has served on many civic organizations in Dallas, including serving as a board member for the Dallas County Community College District Foundation and Dallas Academy. He was named the 2003 Distinguished Alumnus by Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and was honored by the YWCA for his encouragement of women in the workplace.
