Dr. Roger Alexander, currently an adjunct professor in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry, received the Daniel M. Laskin Award for an Outstanding Predoctoral Educator Oct. 10 in Honolulu at the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons’ 89^th annual meeting.

The award is presented annually to an individual identified as the specialty’s most outstanding undergraduate educator. Among other criteria, recipients of this award must exemplify the highest ideals as an educator and be actively involved in efforts to improve undergraduate, residency and continuing education both locally and nationally.
