Dr. Larry Bellinger celebrates 30 years at Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry.

In addition to managing the research and graduate studies department, Bellinger teaches physiology, conducts research funded by the National Institutes of Health, chairs the HSC Appointment, Promotion and Tenure Committee and writes various documents for the HSC.

Bellinger believes HSC-BCD is a great place to work and says the best thing about his job is that he gets paid to do his hobby – research.

“I have been able to work with so many talented and dedicated colleagues, students and staff members,” Bellinger says. “This is especially true of Drs. Wong, Williams and Frazier where, for 20+ of the last 26 years, physiology has received the highest basic science score in National Boards Part I.”

When away from his duties at the college, Bellinger enjoys camping and taking long walks. He is dedicated to his family and is appreciative of his wife’s support of his obligations to the college outside of regular hours.
