D'Souza joins board

Dr. D'SouzaDr. Rena D'Souza, professor and chair of biomedical sciences, has been appointed by the Friends of the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research to serve on its board of directors.

D’Souza was invited to join the board in March by its president, Dr. R. Bruce Donoff, dean of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

The Friends of the NIDCR is a nonprofit organization established in 1998 and composed of individuals, institutions and corporations who are committed to strengthening the NIDCR with the ultimate goal of supporting national and global efforts to improve dental and craniofacial health. Among its many efforts, the group educates the public and key decision makers about the importance of investing in the NIDCR.
