Wang award finalist
Dr. Ying Wang, a postdoctoral research associate in biomedical sciences, was selected as one of 27 scientists to compete for the American Association for Dental Research Hatton Award at the group’s annual meeting in Miami April 1 - 4. Wang’s poster presentation was “Pathogenic mechanisms of tooth agenesis linked to PAX9 DNA-binding domain.”
The Hatton Award competition is designed for junior investigators who exhibit potential for a productive career in dental research.
Wang’s presentation was one of many by the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the IADR/AADR meeting (see department news).
