Cindy Ceen Longtime employee Cindy Ceen retired from her position as assistant dean of administration for Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry after 17 years of service.

A crowd of faculty, staff, students, friends and family of Ceen attended a retirement party in her honor Jan. 31 in the sixth floor lobby.

Dr. James S. Cole, HSC-BCD dean; Dr. Eric Solomon, executive director of institutional research for the HSC; Dr. Charles Berry, associate dean of academic affairs for HSC-BCD; and Pat Lopez, HSC-BCD director of human resources, shared memories and offered best wishes to their friend and colleague. Lopez presented Ceen with a crystal bowl on behalf of the college in appreciation of her service.

Cindy and Richard Ceen “We will truly miss Cindy’s many contributions to BCD,” says Cole. “For over 17 years the College has benefited from her talents as well as her insight, dedication and passion for the College. We sincerely wish her the best in her retirement.”

Ceen joined the college in 1991 as assistant to the president for Dr. Dominick DePaolo. She has served the college under the leadership of 3 deans and played a key role in transitioning the college from a private institution into the A&M system and eventually under the governance of the Health Science Center.
