Dental hygiene mentorship
A pizza party on Nov. 6 helped break the ice between senior dental hygiene students and Dallas Dental Hygienists’ Society members, who will get to know one other in the coming months as part of the Caruth School of Dental Hygiene’s mentorship program.
Cultural competency training
More than 40 faculty members benefited from the college's new cultural competency training Nov. 25 at the Center for Community Cooperation in Dallas.
Student research
Eight dental students and Dr. Robert Spears, associate professor in biomedical sciences, attended the Hinman National Student Research Symposium at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry Oct. 31 – Nov. 2.
Honor society anniversary
The college's Odontological Honor Society is celebrating its 50th anniversary this month and will commemorate with a reception to coincide with Southwest Dental Conference and the Alumni Association reception.
Tribute to John Thompson
Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry mourns the loss of John Thompson, print shop supervisor, who passed away Dec. 20. He was 72.
