The faculty, staff and students of HSC-Baylor College of Dentistry helped make the holidays special for children in the care of Dallas County Child Protective Services through the Community Partners of Dallas’ annual toy drive.

The college received 50 wish cards from the non-profit organization in November that indicated the desired gifts of area children. Within days, all wish cards had been selected.

Lori Dees, administrative coordinator in communications and development, managed the toy drive at the college and worked to ensure that all selected wish card gifts were returned on time and received by CPD.

“This is one of my favorite projects every year,” says Dees. “Season after season, I can count on our faculty and staff’s help in making sure these kids aren’t left out during the holidays.”
