Dental hygiene students presented table clinics at HSC-Baylor College of Dentistry’s Student Research Day March 12 at the college. Table clinics were judged by Dr; Ann McCann, director of planning and assessment; Dr. Bob Hinton, professor in biomedical sciences; and Dr. Celeste Abraham, assistant professor in periodontics. Winners are listed below:

• First place - “Cheese Heroin” presented by Ursula Fahrendorff and Gricel Estrada; mentored by JoAnn Scofield, assistant professor in dental hygiene
• Second place - “How You Can Be One Less: HPV and the Risk for Oropharyngeal Cancer” presented by Tina Clay and Holly Eastwood; mentored by Jane Cotter, assistant professor in dental hygiene

The Dallas Dental Hygienists’ Society hosted student table clinics March 13 at their monthly meeting. Results are listed below:
