Mentoring program for dental hygiene seniors continues in noteworthy year for profession
Caruth dental hygiene seniors are yet another step closer toward understanding what will lie ahead after they graduate in spring 2013, a year that coincidentally marks the 100th anniversary of the profession.
During an Oct. 4 Mentor Mix and Mingle with the Dallas Dental Hygienists’ Society, DH2s were introduced to practicing dental hygienists with whom they’ll build a relationship during the course of the school year and possibly beyond.
The event, at Oak Tree Village Club House in Dallas, is a part of DDHS’ formal mentoring program, which started in fall 2001 with the Caruth School of Dental Hygiene seniors.
