Every year, the TAMHSC-BCD community selflessly donates gifts to Dallas children in need. Lately, those recipients seem to be in ever-increasing numbers.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the 2011 Toy Drive, which benefits Community Partners of Dallas. This past year, the holiday wishes of 121 abused and neglected children were filled, thanks to your willingness to give. That’s 10 percent more than what students, faculty and staff gave in 2010 and a bright outlook for what we can continue in 2012.

As a result of total contributions to Community Partners of Dallas from metroplex businesses and organizations, more than 5,000 Dallas County children received a present — many for the first time in their lives.

While the children may not know the name of the store where you found their gifts, or the time you spent scouring the shelves for that perfect tricycle or toy, they’ll remember that they felt special.

Thank you for your generosity.
