Dr. Jayne Reuben’s last day at the college was Sept. 1. She is returning home to South Carolina, where she accepted an opportunity to work as a clinical associate professor and founding faculty member for the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Greenville.
At the Academy of General Dentistry's 50th Annual Convocation Ceremony held in San Diego on July 30, Dr. Linda Cheng was recognized by the academy’s president, Dr. Fares M. Elias, as one of the 2011 Board Certified Academy of General Dentistry members. Cheng was one of only 20 doctors nationwide who achieved board certification status with the American Board of General Dentistry this year.
Public Health Sciences
Dr. Eric Solomon, executive director in the Office of Institutional Research and professor in public health sciences, presented “The Future of Dentistry and Endodontics” to the American Association of Endodontists board of directors on July 16.
