Oudin awarded first Betty J. Scott Scholarship
When it came time to choose the first Betty J. Scott Scholarship recipient, the selection committee had an easy choice to make. Fourth-year dental student Jonathan Oudin embodied Scott’s hopes that the winner would be a well-rounded individual.
Tovar wins HDA national award
Fourth-year dental student Carly Tovar was one of only three students nationwide to receive the Colgate-Palmolive/Hispanic Dental Association Student Recognition Award for 2010.
Swinney receives B.J. Long Memorial Scholarship
Senior dental hygiene student Lisa Swinney received the B.J. Long Memorial Scholarship from the Dallas Dental Hygienists’ Society on Feb. 17.
