Giving at HSC-BCD
On Sept. 8 the faculty, students, staff and friends of the Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry kicked off the Annual Fund drive and Get Up and Give! as part of North Texas Giving Day.
Gifts made through DonorBridge to the Baylor Oral Health Foundation of $25 or more the day of the event were matched. DonorBridge is an online resource for donors and charitable organizations available through the Communities Foundation of Texas. DonorBridge provides detailed information about nonprofits within the Dallas/Fort Worth region, as well as general information about every nonprofit in the United States.

Founded in 1993, the BOHF provides HSC-Baylor College of Dentistry with funds and support to sustain its institutional preeminence through excellence in students, faculty, research and outreach. It does this by raising and managing private dollars for world-class faculty, leading edge research, academic programs and scholarships.
In 2009 the foundation gave HSC-BCD $568,210 to benefit a variety of programs and activities such as student scholarships, community outreach, faculty and student research, staff and faculty professional development, travel assistance and financial support for commencement.
