Travelers flying the friendly skies on American Airlines this summer may have seen a familiar face in the July 15 issue of American Way magazine. 

Dr. Ron Woody, professor and director of implant dentistry in restorative sciences at Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry, received a very special gift from his son, Michael.  An avid sailor, Michael gave his father a yacht-race sailing experience on the Stars & Stripes through Dennis Conner's America's Cup Experience in San Diego.

As art and editorial director of American Way magazine, Michael Woody documented the father-son adventure and developed it into the feature story for the July issue. 

An enlightening read, "Sail Away" offers readers a great historical perspective on the America's Cup Challenge.  It provides information about the tactics involved in sailing races.  It also gives readers a dose of wanderlust with their sites set on San Diego.
