Crystal Charity Ball presents check
Southeast Oral Health Project will benefit from gift
On April 1 the Crystal Charity Ball Committee presented Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry and its community partners a big check representing the $500,000 the committee of community volunteers raised to benefit the Southeast Oral Health Project.
The project, which includes a new dental clinic in the Pleasant Grove community of Dallas, is designed to improve the oral health of the community's children with a comprehensive, four-pronged approach: screening, prevention, referrals and treatment.
