Father and son orthodontists R.G. “Wick” and Moody Alexander can say they’ve set several generations of the city’s teeth on a straight path.
Drs. Alexander Orthodontics at 840 W. Mitchell St. has been in operation for 50 years, treating more than 17,500 children and adults. Add to that the thousands of people who have benefited from Wick Alexander’s own Alexander LTS Bracket technique, which has been taught to orthodontists worldwide. ...
Alexander still instructs on his technique all over the world, and this year alone has visited China, Japan and Germany. The bracket-bracing system makes straightening teeth “a little easier and there’s less discomfort,” said Alexander. He is also a clinical professor of orthodontics at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry.
Alumni Association president Dr. Celeste Latham ’97 tackles family life, career and leadership with focus that is far from single-minded. By sharing responsibilities with family and colleagues, this professional and mother of two young children is able to achieve the balance she desires. Here’s more on her life outlook and strategies.

A New Source for What's Going on at TAMBCD
I am pleased to share with you an exciting development from the Office of Advancement, Communications & Alumni Relations at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry. Effective today, you can read college news and updates on your alma mater's newly designed web publication, NewsStand.
This site was created with the TAMBCD community in mind. In one centralized news hub, NewsStand's content will include information that formerly was found in the Baylor Dental Record Online as well as news articles and features from the college's magazine, the Baylor Dental Journal, which remains in print format.
The Record Online has been the college's dependable source for web news for more than 10 years. While the BDRO as we've come to know it is going away, NewsStand will provide the same quality coverage with several distinct enhancements, including:
daily/weekly postings, so you receive frequent, up-to-date information
responsive design, so you can read college news articles on your computer, mobile device or tablet with ease
weekly emails and RSS feed subscriptions, so you can be the first to know when TAMBCD developments break
I hope you will enjoy using this new resource as much as I will. In the meantime, please direct any comments or questions to Jenny Fuentes in the Office of Advancement, Communications & Alumni Relations at 214.828.8358 or firstname.lastname@example.org. And don't forget to send story ideas and/or news to Jenny as well.
