Abscesses

    If a tooth develops an abscess, does it then require a root canal be done?  Does Baylor have a clinic which does this procedure?  Thanks you for any help you may offer.

If the tooth is truly abscessed and it is not a gum abscess, in order to keep the tooth in the mouth in a healthy situation root canal treatment will be necessary. Baylor provides a full range of services relative to root canal (endodontic) treatment.
